Front Office Supervisor

As Front Office Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising the receptionists and making sure that all the tasks are completed during every shift.

During your shift, you check whether the receptionists do their tasks on time and according to the guidelines as described in their checklists. You also provide customer care services, both in the hotel and online. Furthermore, you order stocks for office and housekeeping supplies so that everything needed is present in the hotel. This way you ensure that the hotel looks well maintained and the receptionist are carrying out their work enjoyably.

In addition, you perform some administrative and organizational tasks. You prepare the schedules for the receptionist, making sure all jobs are filled and indicating what tasks everyone should carry out. Furthermore, you organize projects assigned to you, for example a private event, and keep the Management informed about them.

You usually work as the only Front Office Supervisor and with between two or three receptionists per shift, depending on the size of the hotel. You report to your supervisor, the Operations Manager.

For this position it is mandatory to have an eligible visa to work full-time in Germany: we do not sponsor visas for this role.

What is required?

• Experience in hospitality
• Good knowledge of customer relations
• Good understanding of computer handling (Opera, MICROS)
• Good command of the German and English language
• Venturous, humble, helpful and approachable

Als Front Office Supervisor bist du dafür verantwortlich, die Rezeptionisten zu beaufsichtigen und sicherzustellen, dass alle Aufgaben während jeder Schicht erledigt werden.

Während deiner Schicht überprüfst du, ob die Rezeptionisten ihre Aufgaben pünktlich und gemäß unseren Standards erledigen. Außerdem betreust du die Kunden, sowohl im Hotel als auch auf unseren online Plattformen. Du bist verantwortlich für die Büro- und Housekeepingbestellungen, damit alles, was im Hotel benötigt wird,  vorhanden ist. Auf diese Weise sorgst du dafür, dass das Hotel ordentlich und gepflegt aussieht und die Rezeptionisten ihre Arbeit mit Freude verrichten.

Darüber hinaus übernimmst du zahlreiche administrative und organisatorische Aufgaben. Du erstellst die Dienstpläne für die Rezeptionisten, stellst sicher, dass alle Stellen besetzt sind und gibst an, welche Aufgaben jeder zu erledigen hat. Außerdem bist du für zusätzliche Projekte verantwortlich wie z. B.  private Gäste- oder Firmenveranstaltungen und hälst das Management stets auf dem Laufenden.

In der Regel arbeitest du selbstständig als Front Office Supervisor/Schichtleiter mit zwei bis drei Rezeptionisten pro Schicht, je nach Größe des Hotels. Dein direkter Vorgesetzer ist der Operations Manager.
