Revenue Management Data Analyst

As a pivotal member of the team, lead the team from a data / market perspective by pulling external & internal data into intelligence by creating & distributing both standard and ad hoc reports to support the whole Commercial Team and especially the Corporate Revenue Manager to maximize all relevant revenue streams. Demonstrate a strong business acumen, that questions performance, resilience and innovation are important attributes of this role, along with questioning personality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Information analysis & problem solving

  • Understand Market trends, investigate and extract data from any relevant system needed for problem solving raised by the commercial team.
  • Maintain and distribute standard reports within deadlines (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and create ad hoc reports).
  • Create and develop reports to support the Commercial team performance.
  • Provide insight and recommendations to support the commercial team in their further analysis.
  • Close and proactive communication with commercial team to coordinate data analysis required to ensure the quality of decision making and results.
  • Maintain and develop excellent relationships with stakeholder, customers, colleagues and peers alike.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & EXPECTATIONS

  • Deep Excel skill and knowledge is a must.
  • Power query / any other data transformation / data preparation engine knowledge or data analysis tool is a benefit.
  • Knowledge about hospitality KPI is preferred.
  • Encourages open sharing of best practices within the team.
  • Works to deadlines and performs all duties in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintains proper flow of information and data within the team and to the hotels, as required.
  • Attends meetings and training required by the line manager.
  • Assists colleagues to perform similar or related jobs when necessary.
  • Continuously seeks to improve the department’s efficient operation, and knowledge of own job function.
  • Complies to company policies to achieve the objectives of the position.
