As Receptionist, you are responsible for helping guests and creating positive experiences for them during their stay. You work at the front desk and are in charge of all the reservations, which includes checking guests in and out. In addition, you promote and support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program to guests, and manage the hotel room inventories, bills and payments according to the regulations.

Supporting your colleagues behind the bar and in the Back of House is also one of your tasks. For example, you help prepare the buffet and various meals and beverages for the guests and serve them in a hospitable way. You also clean, tidy, restock, and organize the front office, the hotel restaurant and the Back of House areas.

To work safely, you always follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies, as well as the instructions and checks that you must follow and perform for certain activities. Likewise, you always provide customer service and hospitality. By doing this, you ensure that the hotel is well maintained and a welcoming place for guests.

During your shift, you usually work alone at the front desk. If you have any questions or problems, you can contact the Front Office Supervisor.

For this position it is mandatory to have an eligible visa to work full-time in Germany: we do not sponsor visas for this role.

What is required?

• Experience in hospitality is a plus
• Good knowledge of customer relations
• Willing to perform various hospitality related tasks
• Good command of the German and English language
• Venturous, humble, helpful and approachable

Als Rezeptionist/in bist du dafür verantwortlich, den Gästen zu helfen und ihren Aufenthalt positiv zu gestalten. Du arbeitest an der Rezeption und bist für alle Reservierungen zuständig, einschließlich des Ein- und Auscheckens von Gästen. Außerdem wirbst du und unterstützt du die Marke Moxy und das Marriott-Bonvoy-Treueprogramm bei den Gästen und verwaltest den Bestand an Hotelzimmern, Rechnungen und Zahlungen gemäß den Vorschriften.

Auch die Unterstützung deiner Kollegen hinter der Bar und im Back of House gehört zu deinen Aufgaben. Du hilfst zum Beispiel, das Buffet und verschiedene Speisen und Getränke für die Gäste vorzubereiten und sie gastfreundlich zu bedienen. Außerdem hälst du das Front Office, das Hotelrestaurant und die Back of House-Bereiche sauber, räumst auf, füllst die Vorräte auf und organisierst sie.

Du befolgst stets alle Richtlinien  zur Lebensmittelsicherheit und zum Gesundheitsschutz sowie die Anweisungen und Kontrollen, die du für bestimmte Tätigkeiten befolgen und durchführen musst. Außerdem bist du stets um einen guten Kundenservice und gastfreundschaftliches Auftreten bemüht. Auf diese Weise sorgst du dafür, dass das Hotel gepflegt ist und die Gäste sich wohl fühlen.

Während deiner Schicht arbeitest du normalerweise allein an der Rezeption. Wenn du Fragen oder Probleme hast, kannst du dich an den Front Office Supervisor wenden.
