Kitchen Associate (Kitchen Crew Member)

Confident communicator comfortable in a fast-paced service focused role. Proactive problem solver and team player, who builds a fun and relaxed environment that makes guests feel at home

Main Tasks & responsibilities

• Helping guests and creating positive experiences
• Operate Food & Beverage outlets the Moxy way
• Prepare food and deliver consistent food quality
• Preparation, set-up, service, clean up and restocking of the appropriate prep areas of food
• Restock, take deliveries, plan orders, and organize BOH areas
• Cleanliness of the kitchen area
• Full ownership of FIFO system (first in first out) of food & beverage items
• Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely
• Food handling according to HACCP regulations (product rotation, temperature maintenance and record keeping, storage procedures etc.)
• Supporting other Crew Members and follow direction from Crew Leaders. This may include covering shifts on the bar.
• Promote and support the Moxy brand & the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program

• Passionate about Food & Beverage
• Skilled multi tasker who can balance hard work with great service and thinking ahead

• Clear communicator in Italian and English

Useful Experience

• Experience within the service industry
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
• Personal experience of travel and travel industry
