Head Chef
We are looking for a fantastic and energetic Head Chef for our restaurant The Fifty-One at our hotel, Moxy Brussels City Center!
As an enthusiastic Head Chef you will be leading our team of chefs to ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked according to the standards. The restaurant serves quality and seasonal food in an informal environment and you will be responsible of creating a new inspirational menu every season. Together with the restaurant manager and General manager, you assure that high quality food is served.

Responsibilities
- Leading the kitchen team by training them regarding standards, hygiene and quality
- Review of ingredients and deliveries
- Monitoring waste and portion control
- Making sure that food cost is aligned with budget
- Inventing dishes and menu creation, including costings
Qualifications
- Fluent in French and English
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Sous chef, Executive Sous Chef or Head Chef
- Willing to work every Tuesday – Saturday evening
- Well organized, clean and resistant to stress
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and ordering platforms (computer skills)
