Sales Executive – Courtyard Amsterdam Arena Atlas

What You Will Do
Sales & Business Development
- Drive corporate, group and catering business for Courtyard Amsterdam Arena Atlas through proactive sales and account management.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities from local, national, and international accounts and industries
- Conduct regular client visits, sales calls, and networking activities to generate and retain business.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, corporate events, and client functions, showcasing the Courtyard Amsterdam Arena Atlas.
- Work closely with the Regional Director of Sales and wider commercial team to execute the hotel’s annual sales plan and deliver measurable results.
Account Management
- Multi segment account management of a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and consistent revenue performance.
- Negotiate and renew corporate rate agreements and RFPs in collaboration with Revenue Management.
- Monitor production, track performance, and identify underperforming accounts to re-engage strategically.
- Maintain complete and accurate client records within SFA Web
Sales Planning & Execution
- Support the preparation and implementation of the annual Business and Sales & Marketing Plan, providing market insight and competitive intelligence.
- Collaborate with Group, Commercial & Revenue teams to align on pricing strategies, promotions, and conversion targets.
- Assist in preparing monthly reports and performance reviews for the commercial leadership team.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Liaise with Operations, Group reservations, and the events teams to ensure smooth coordination of group bookings and business stays.
- Partner with Marketing to strengthen the hotel’s presence within Amsterdam
- Participate in Marriott and Hotel Co 51 sales initiatives, cross-selling sister properties and driving total account value.
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in hotel sales, reservations, or a client-facing commercial role — preferably within the corporate or group segment.
- Strong understanding or interest in the Amsterdam business market and its key demand drivers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical and structured mindset, able to translate data and insights into opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and comfortable working with CRM systems (experience with Marriott systems such as SFA Web, CI/TY, or Opera is a plus).
- Fluent in English; Dutch is preferred.
- Professional, reliable, and goal-oriented, with a proactive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
