Meetings & Events Manager – Hotel Co 51 UK
Gross salary – £30000 per year
The Meeting & Events Manager is a confident, organised, and proactive manager for the hotel. You are the key point of contact between guests and the hotel for Meeting & Events.
Managing all aspects of meeting enquiries and their operation, you will be responsible for managing meetings, while ensuring the guest is fully satisfied
Your Role:
- Manages the operational preparation for all meeting and events in the hotel, including guest deposits, Invoicing, cut-off dates, operations and contact relationships
- Checks for accuracy on all booking sheets, contracts to verify that they are in accordance with operational guidelines (e.g., inventory, availability, operating procedures.)
- Broad understanding of facility management including ability to manage guest room, dining and meeting space inventories
- Knowledge of overall hotel operations as they affect each hotel for which they are planning events
- Takes meeting and events enquires and any room bookings alongside them
- Host’s meeting and event’s and assists with the operation
- Acts as primary contact in advance planning meeting, communicating all pertinent information to the General Manager and relevant hotel associates, as relevant

Skills
- Top Communication ability
- Knowledge with Opera Express and Opera Sales & Catering
- Hot on Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel , Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Curious and quick on new online tools that improve speed and efficiency
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience with booking leisure / tour series is a plus
