IT Coordinator

HotelCo51 is seeking a customer-service focused, detail-oriented IT Coordinator for the German region.

This region consists currently out of 10 hotels and 3 more hotels opening later this year.

MAIN TASKS

In this role you will be part of the HotelCo51 IT department that is today supporting 35 hotels spread over 8 countries in Europe.

Your main focus is supporting the hotels in Germany, but you will also be heavily involved in activities for all the other hotels.

One special task will be to monitor the cyber security for the company.

You will work closely with the various disciplines throughout the organization, but especially with Operations.

You are responsible for guaranteeing IT functionality needed for running operational processes.

The tasks include:

• Order, plan and support the implementation of all needed IT systems for new projects
• Be part of the pre-opening team to ensure a smooth opening of the hotels
• Project management during system implementations / system changes or (re)branding
• Documenting IT systems and processes to keep policies and procedures up-to-date
• Evaluation of all systems regarding functionality / security / cost-benefit effect
• External communication with system providers
• Coordinate the quick and smooth resolving of incidents
• Regular internal communication with operations and administrative departments as well with the CIO regarding all system issues
• Monitoring compliance of and supporting external and internal audits on PCI-DSS

KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working for a hotel or hotel system provider
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an IT role or environment
• Knowledge of hotel specific systems (PMS / Interfaces / POS cash register systems)
• Knowledge of Office 365
• Experience with IT security

• Fluent in English, spoken and written

• Good time management and organisational skills- ability to manage multiple activities in parallel with proper follow up on status.

• Willingness to travel

WORK LOCATION

The role is based in Germany. You will work from one of our hotels or from home. You are expected to travel to all the hotels (20-30%).

You will report to the Chief Information Officer of Hotel Co 51, who is based at the Amsterdam head office.
