Head Chef

As an enthusiastic Head Chef, you will be leading our team of chefs to ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked according to the (brand) standards.

The restaurant serves quality and seasonal food in the informal and relaxed environment. The restaurant concept will include international street food.

You will be responsible for orders. You will be in charge of service and ensure that the food served is of the high-quality standards set by yourself and the Captain (General Manager).

Responsibilities

• Leading the kitchen team by training them regarding standards, hygiene and quality
• Review of ingredients and deliveries
• Monitoring waste and portion control
• Making sure that food cost is aligned with budget
• Inventing dishes and menu creation, including costings

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and English (any other language would be an advantage)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Sous chef, Executive Sous Chef or Head Chef
• Highly flexible and able to respond creatively to any situation
• Well organized, clean and resistant to stress
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and ordering platforms (computer skills)

Nous recherchons un phénoménal chef de cuisine pour le restaurant qui ouvrira bientôt dans notre tout nouvel hôtel Moxy Paris Val d’Europe!

En tant que chef, vous dirigerez avec enthousiasme votre équipe afin de vous assurer que les plats sont préparés et cuisinés selon les normes de la marque. Le restaurant sert une cuisine de qualité et de saison dans un environnement informel, fun et détendu. Le concept de restaurant comprendra une cuisine street food internationale élaborée qui vous intégrerez à la conception de vos menus.

Vous serez responsable des commandes. Vous serez en charge du service, mais devrez également veiller à ce que la nourriture servie soit conforme aux normes de qualité élevées que vous aurez fixé en étroite collaboration avec le Captain (directeur général).

Responsabilités

• Créer les cartes et menus, tout en respectant les coûts et marges

Qualifications

• Maîtrise du français lu, écrit et parlé
• Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en tant que sous-chef, sous-chef exécutif ou chef cuisinier
• Très flexible et capable de répondre de manière créative à n’importe quelle situation
• Bien organisé, l et résistant au stress
• Maîtrise d’Excel, de Word et des plateformes de commande (compétences informatiques)
