Front Office Manager – Element by Westin Wrocław
Energetic multitasker who leads from the front to maintains a smooth front office operation and inspires their team to overdeliver for guests by working hard and having fun. Maintains high standards for our guests, has an eye for detail, as well as a sound business understanding. Builds relationships with key partners and welcomes activity into the hotel by bringing the Element brand to life creating relaxed environment that makes guests feel at home.
Main Tasks and responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating the work hotel Front Office Department
- Maintaining good relations with hotel guests along with responding to their needs and opinions / monitoring guests satisfaction
- Implementation and maintenance of hotel chain and brand standards
- Cooperation with all hotel departments and within the structure of the company and hotel chain, including:
- verification of the correctness of individual reservations and rooms allocations
- system support for group booking
- making daily and monthly settlements / verifying the compliance of transactions
- recruitment, motivation, training, graphics, working time settlement
- assisting in forecasting revenues and costs and monitoring them
- verification of the correct operation of front office systems, tools and equipment / reporting faults
- implementation of hotel chain projects as part of tasks assigned to Front Office & Reservation Departments
- participation in hotel events organized for the guests
- supporting FB sales and duties
- creation and implementation of hotel procedures
- Participation in rotational managerial duties
- Performing tasks delegated by Hotel General Manager
- Cooperation with hotel business partners as well as contractors and service providers
- Supports the General Manager in all aspects of the management of the hotel
We’re looking for someone with Element, which is all of these things:

- Broad interest in the hotel industry, focus on development and willingness to expand knowledge

- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English (other foreign languages will be an advantage)
Useful Experience:
- Must have minimum 2 years management experience in hotel industry and/or within Front Office department, including manager or supervisor position
- Knowledge of hotel systems, including mainly Opera PMS (knowledge of Marriott chain systems and hotel benchmarking systems will be an additional advantage)
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English (other foreign languages will be an advantage)
- Computer and Office program skills (including efficient use of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint tools)
- Knowledge of concepts and terms from the hospitality industry and demonstrating basic knowledge of hospitality KPIs
- Good organization of own work, ability to hierarchize tasks to be performed, dynamic in action
- Representing an empathetic and open attitude to people, being visible
- Ability to find solutions in response to everyday hotel challenges
- Broad interest in the hotel industry, focus on development and willingness to expand knowledge
- Education min. bachelor’s degree
